On the afternoon of April 8, The Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Fatherland Front Committee of Do Son District held a press conference on the Tourism Festival "Do Son - Colors of the Sea 2022", which was also attended by Mrs. Dao Khanh Ha, Member of the City Party Committee’s Standing Board, Head of the City’s Propaganda and Education Commission.
Accordingly, the tourism festival "Do Son - Colors of the Sea 2022" takes place from April 29 to May 2, with 6 main activities as follows: “Opening the walking street”, “Dragon boat racing festival on the sea”, art performances “Do Son – Colors of the sea”, “Ancient car parade and display festival”, “EDM festival" and "Do Son Tourism Golf Tournament 2022".
According to the district’s leader, the District strictly upheld the policy of not using sidewalks for business purposes during the festival. Night service business activities would be carried out at the pedestrian street, the outdoor food court at Hon Dau international tourist area.
In addition, the District had invested in developing tourism products based on its outstanding strengths, which prioritized the development of 03 tourism sectors: sea - island, culture - spirit - festival and seminar- conference - resort.
Addressing the conference, Mrs. Dao Khanh Ha acknowledged the contribution of news and press agencies in Do Son tourism. However, Do Son tourism had not developed commensurately with local strengths and expectations of the city leaders and people. She hoped that news and press agencies would continuously contribute to promoting Do Son to perfect itself as a civilized and safe tourist destination./.
