Standing Committee of Municipal Party Committee issued a decision to form a Steering Committee for building project on establishing a city within Hai Phong City in Thuy Nguyen District
According to decision, Formation of Steering Committee for building project on establishing a city within Hai Phong City in Thuy Nguyen District was headed by Mr. Tran Luu Quang, Member of Party Central Committee, Secretary of Municipal Party Committee, Head of Hai Phong City National Assembly Delegation. Deputy Heads of Steering Committee include following comrades: Mr. Nguyen Van Tung, Deputy Secretary of Municipal Party Committee, Chairman of Municipal People's Committee, as Standing Deputy Head of Steering Committee; Mr. Do Manh Hien, Standing Deputy Secretary of Municipal Party Committee; Mr. Pham Van Lap, Member of Standing Committee of Municipal Party Committee, Chairman of Municipal People's Council.
Members of Steering Committee include following comrades: Mr. Le Anh Quan, Member of Standing Committee of Municipal Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of Municipal People's Committee; Mr. Vu Thanh Chuong, Member of Standing Committee of Municipal Party Committee, Director of City Public Security; Mr. Nguyen Minh Quang, Member of Standing Committee of Municipal Party Committee, Commander of City Military Command; Mr. Nguyen Duc Tho, Member of Municipal Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Municipal People's Committee. Steering Committee is responsible for: Advising and assisting Municipal Party Committee and Standing Committee of Municipal Party Committee in leading, directing, supervising, speeding up and guiding the project establishment to ensure progress according to Resolution No.45-NQ/TW of Politburo and Resolution of the 16th Municipal Party Congress. Steering Committee works on a part-time basis. Head and Deputy Heads of Steering Committee are allowed to use seals of agencies and units to sign documents under their authority. Steering Committee develops a work plan and assigns specific tasks to each member of Steering Committee; set up assisting groups which are officials, experts of relevant agencies, units and localities. Steering Committee dissolves itself after completing tasks. Funding for the operation of Steering Committee and assisting groups of Steering Committee shall comply with current regulations guaranteed by city’s budget.
Assigning Department of Home Affairs as standing agency of Steering Committee, advising on work plans; notifying tasks assignment of Steering Committee members and submitting to Head of Steering Committee for signature and implementation; guiding, monitoring, summarizing and speeding up the implementation of Steering Committee's work plan. Assigning Thuy Nguyen District People's Committee as investor, directly building and implementing the project on establishing a city within Hai Phong City in Thuy Nguyen District./.
