During the meeting, both sides engaged in in-depth discussions, focusing on advanced technological solutions to optimize energy use and reduce carbon emissions in the industrial sector. As part of the exchange, Mr. Yuta Honobe, General Director of OSUMI Co., Ltd., shared practical experience in implementing effective energy management systems, thereby contributing to improved production and business efficiency for enterprises.
OSUMI Co., Ltd. (Japan) is known as an experienced organization in the field of energy-saving consultancy, equipment performance assessment, and the provision of operational optimization solutions for factories and industrial zones, aiming to enhance energy efficiency and promote sustainable development. In Vietnam, since 2013, the company has implemented ODA-funded projects in Da Nang, focusing on energy diagnostics and proposing energy-saving solutions, while also promoting environmental education. Over time, OSUMI has gradually expanded its presence, providing solutions for hotels, factories—particularly Japanese enterprises—and developing energy and environmental consultancy services, business matching, and project promotion. In addition, the company serves as a focal point for the Yokohama Urban Solution Alliance (YUSA) in Da Nang.
Based on OSUMI’s experience, the two sides also discussed directions for cooperation in connecting, consulting, and delivering comprehensive energy-saving solutions tailored to the characteristics of enterprises in Hai Phong and the Northern region. These cooperation initiatives are expected to help local enterprises optimize energy costs, gradually meet international environmental standards, and enhance their competitiveness in the context of the global green transition.
