The Korea Institute of Science and Technology will continue to implement cooperation and research programs with Hai Phong Medical University Hospital in the biomedical field.
A delegation from the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), led by Chairman Oh Sang Rok, paid a working visit to Hai Phong Medical University Hospital under Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy and Deep C Hai Phong industrial park on November 7.
Oh Sang Rok said South Korea is strengthening comprehensive cooperation with Hai Phong in various fields, from economy, trade, science and technology to education, healthcare, and culture. Among these, the biomedical sector has received special attention from the institute, which will continue to promote cooperation and research programs with Hai Phong Medical University Hospital in the near future.
During the visit to Deep C industrial park, the delegation learned about the park’s potential, advantages, and incentive policies for investors.
Deep C Hai Phong is an industrial park with modern infrastructure and comprehensive support services, including logistics centers and on-site customs services, helping businesses save time and costs.
Its diverse investment portfolio, expanding beyond manufacturing into high-tech industries and services, contributes to sustainable regional economic development and makes it an attractive destination for investors, including those from South Korea.
The cooperation between Hai Phong and KIST officially began with Hai Phong’s delegation visit to South Korea in April 2024. Since then, the partnership has become increasingly practical and effective.
