On May 14, 2020, Ms. Bui Thu Minh and Mr. Frank Dinh Truong on behalf of the Project Organizing Committee presented a symbol of 100,000 masks as a gift from the Vietnamese community in Germany to the German people for the WUS Organization ( World University Service) in Wiesbaden. Mr. Kambiz Ghawami, Executive Director of WUS, received the symbol of 100,000 masks of the Vietnamese community on behalf of the WUS community to relay to the German people in 16 states.
Also on May 14, 2020, Ms. Bui Thu Minh and Mr. Frank Dinh Truong on behalf of the Project Organizing Committee presented a symbol of 6,250 masks for Rheinland-Pfalz state. These masks were received and distributed by the Ministry of the Interior of Rheinland-Pfalz to the charity Mainzer Tafel. On behalf of the Mainzer Tafel, Dieter Hanspach, First President, received the symbol of this mask. Attending both symbolic awards ceremonies was Mr. Tran Manh Hung, Head of the Vietnam News Agency Head Office in Berlin.
On behalf of WUS and to Mainzer Tafel, Mr. Ghawami and Mr. Hanspach expressed their sincere thanks to the Vietnamese community in Germany for this valuable and meaningful gift from the Vietnamese community in Germany. In the coming time, symbolic handover ceremonies in some other states may be held. After continuing to receive the images of the handover ceremony soon, the Organizing Committee will promptly update and transfer to the community later.
