On the afternoon of October 28, the Department of Transportation collaborated with Smarthub Logistics Technology Company to organize the workshop on developing technological platforms in logistics management and operation. Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Hoang Minh Cuong attended the workshop.
At the workshop, Smarthub Logistics Technology Company introduced about Vietnam Smarthub Logistics Ecosystem(VSL) connecting logistics activities including seaports, shipping lines, enterprises doing business in manufacturing, import and export, state authorities, etc. to create a centralized electronic operating center to handle services, monitor goods circulation and data traffic flow among ports according to specific professional process; sharing and optimizing terminals and warehouses facilities; integrating economic-sharing applied technology models, trading platforms; transferring and receiving data serve State’s administrative agencies, etc.
At the workshop, Mr. Hoang Minh Cuong informed that Hai Phong has been an industrial port city, a traffic hub of the whole country; everyday, there are thousands of transportation vehicles carrying goods from Hai Phong to neighboring provinces across the country, other countries and regions and vice versa. The city always create favorable conditions for enterprises to apply high technologies, successfully digitalize, improve operational efficiency and contribute to overall development of the city. Regarding the VSL application, the city encourages enterprises to use it; the Vice Chairman also requested Smarthub Logistics Technology JS. Company to offer a demo to support the ports and enterprises operating in transport and logistics in Hai Phong./.
