Workshop on Deparment and District Competitiveness Index (DDCI) enhancement

In the city convention center, the People’s Committee of Haiphong held a workshop to counsel the methodology and the department and district competitiveness index (DDCI) of Haiphong in 2020. Mr Le Anh Quan – Member of Standing Board of Haiphong Party Committee, Standing Deputy Chairman of Haiphong People’s Committee attended and presided over the workshop.

DDCI is the department and district competitiveness index. This is the first year the assessment has been carried out in Haiphong city. The index is set up and surveyed to assess the economic governance capacity of department and localities and people’s committees of districts to boost the competitiveness, emulate to higher raise the socio-economic governing quality and robustly improve the investment and business climate in Haiphong. The workshop on the methodology and the department and district competitiveness index of Haiphong in 2020 will help participating units have better understanding, thus, mapping out action plans in the coming time. On this fundament, the Department of Planning and Investment together with the consultant units will study and finalize the contents, submit to the city people’s committee to promulgate the Decision on DDCI Haiphong in 2020 in the soonest time./.
