The City People’s Committee had issued Plan no. 233/KH-UBND on the implementation of Hai Phong vocational training development strategy in the 2021 – 2030 period, vision to 2045.
According to the Plan, the targets for the years of 2025-2030 was to raise the quality of the city vocational training establishments, some colleges of which approach ASEAN-4 countries’ standards, some professions’ labour force approach regional and international qualities ; raise the proportion of trained workers with degrees and certificates from at least 03 month training to 40%.
The City People’s Committee pointed out 08 groups of key tasks and measures, focusing on those with breakthrough value including: digital transformation acceleration; infrastructure and facility modernization; education program and methods innovation; development of teachers, artisans, expertise, vocational trainers, managers in vocational education.
Continue building models connecting vocational education units with enterprises, cooperatives, manufacturing and business units, labor market at each locality; diversifying investment sources, promoting support and sponsorship of developed countries, international organizations for vocational education, etc./.
