Vietnam - Korea Art Exchange at Marie Curie High School

On the morning of May 18, at Marie Curie High School (Ngo Quyen District), a program of exchange and performance of traditional Vietnamese and Korean culture and arts took place. Attending the program were representatives of the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Department of Education and Training of Hai Phong, the Vietnam - Korea Friendship Association and many teachers and students of Marie Curie High School.

Within the framework of the program, the Korean Bujihwa national music troupe and teachers and students of Marie Curie High School presented to the audience an art program consisting of 13 song and dance performances featuring the cultural, musical and artistic characteristics of the two nations of Vietnam and Korea.

Through performances such as the duet “Continue the story of peace” by teachers and students of Marie Curie High School, a solo dance by artists from the Korean dance troupe to the song “I am from Hai Phong” by musician Xuan Binh; a Bujihwa drum performance, an Aloha musical performance…. the program helps students of Marie Curie High School have the opportunity to learn and experience the unique cultural beauty of the two countries. 

The program not only helps children become more proud of their national cultural identity, but also broadens their international vision, enhances their understanding of Korean culture, arouses their love and passion for learning foreign languages, and fosters a spirit of friendship between the two nations.
