Unique Art Performance Program by Ningbo (China) Art Troupe

On the evening of May 12, at the City Theater Square, the Department of Foreign Affairs organized an art performance by the Ningbo Art Troupe (China) on the occasion of the delegation's participation in the Red Flamboyant Festival - Hai Phong 2025.

At the program, delegates and city residents enjoyed a rich and attractive "art feast" with many carefully staged, high-quality performances imbued with the unique cultural features of the host country.

Typically, the joyful and enthusiastic performance “Golden Snake Falling Dance” vividly recreates the joyful atmosphere of the holiday and is imbued with Chinese cultural identity when borrowing the image of a golden snake to send the best wishes from the East to the audience. “Mo Ni Mountain” is a love song imbued with the blood of the steppe, carrying the immense beauty typical of the Mongolian people; “Eighteen Miles of Farewell” is a classic excerpt from the opera Liang Shan Bo and Zhu Ying Tai, telling the story of the regretful farewell when Zhu Ying Tai finished three years of studying and prepared to return home. Throughout the journey, Zhu Ying Tai continuously borrowed the scenery and stories along the way to implicitly express her deep feelings... Inspired by the classic work Ai Lien Thuyet by Zhou Dunyi, the performance “Lotus” delicately blends the demeanor and graceful movements typical of classical Chinese dance. Through each soft yet graceful movement, the artist vividly depicts the pure, noble beauty of the lotus flower like a poetic painting...

The art performance program of the Ningbo Art Troupe (China) is part of a series of cultural exchange activities in response to the Red Flamboyant Festival - Hai Phong 2025. The festival is an opportunity for foreign artists and art troupes to come to the Port City for cultural exchange. Thereby bringing newness, diversity, attraction, enriching the spiritual and cultural life of the city's people on this special occasion.
