On October 6, the Propaganda Committee of the City Party Committee organized thepreliminary stage of the city-level contest of excellent reporters and propagandists in 2021. Comrade. Dao Khanh Ha, member of Standing Committee of City Party Committee, Head of the Propaganda of City Party Committee attended and steered this contest.
There are twenty contestants who are excellent reporters and propagandists from 19 Party Committes. The preliminary stage took place during 2 days (from October 6-7), in which the best 8 contestants would be chosen for the final stage. These contestants participating the preliminary stage were the party members that have good ability of working, theoretical knowledge, various practice, good skills of presentation, and gain trust from Committees.

Speaking at the opening session of the preminilary stage of the contest, Mrs. Dao Khanh Ha, Head of the Propaganda of City Party Committee underlined that this contest was a very crucial period of political and professional activities in order to propagate widely and vividly for Party members, officials and people of all walks of life about the important contents of the Resolution of XIII Congress of Party, the Resolution of XVI Congress of Party of Hai Phong city and Party of all levels in term of 2020 - 2025.

In recent times, despite the fact that the local authorities, relating units must highly focus on Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control tasks and implementing measures of socio-economic development and social welfare guarantee, due to the efforts to overcome difficulties, the units attempted to organize the grassroot- level contest with the suitable forms to meet the demands of Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control tasks. This underlined that the Committees of all levels had paid attention to mouth propaganda tasks, especially focusing on making the Resolution of Party into practice.
The Head of Propaganda Committee of the City Party Committee proposed that contest organizers should prepare carefully the conditions to ensure the contestants finish their participation; and evaluate right, exactly, objective, fairly.
The contestants should promote the spirit of solidarity, confidence, speaking right, fluently, advisably to gain the high results.
This contest is an opportunity for the team of officials doing propaganda as well as the team of reporters and propagandists of the city’s Party to exchange and learn experiences in order to enhance the quality of oral propaganda that meet demands in the new situation. It also facilitates improvement of ability, knowledge, presentation skills of the team of reporters and propagandist. Simultaneously, this contest is a chance to highly appreciate the excellent reporters and propagandists.
