Thuy Nguyen District: Achieved and overpassed 16/18 targets assigned by the city

(HPĐT)- On October 05 morning, Thuy Nguyen District Party Committee organized the 08^th meeting on evaluation of political tasks of early 09 months of 2021, supplementing implementation measures for ending 03 months of the year; reviewing leadership and direction of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, the Standing Affairs Committee of the District Party Committee; land use plan in period of 2021-2030; adjusting and adding work regulation of the Executive Committee of the District Party Committee. Mr. Pham Van Lap, Member of the City Party Committee’s Standing Committee, Chairman of the City People’s Council, attended the meeting.

Giving the remark at the meeting, Mr. Pham Van Lap mentioned that, during current time, Thuy Nguyen District Party Committee has continued to promote spirit of solidarity, focus on leading and directing the locality to achieve comprehensive and outstanding results in all fields, particularly mobilizing the masses in the construction of model new rural works (NTM). Budget has achieved remarkable results with the highest regular revenue in the past 5 years. Ground on assessment of results, difficulties and limitation of the district, Chairman of the City People’s Council guided Thuy Nguyen District Party Committee continue to complete and exceed tasks and targetsassigned by the City Party Committee, the City People’s Council, the City People’s Committee, on Party and government building, mass mobilization, socio-economic development, national defense and security, etc. Among the aforementioned tasks and targets, it focuses on high achievement of the 03 tasks: ground clearance, budget revenue and expenditure, the NTM construction. First and foremost, the District needs to complete the ground clearance of technical infrastructure of new urban area investment project at the North of Cam River; key transport projects of the city at the district’s area, and the NTM’s infrastructure construction works. Regarding budget tasks, it needs to get high determination, daily and timely, to guarantee assigned tasks by the city; budget expenditure needs to be economic, effective, and it needs to push up public investment capital disbursement process. In construction of the NTM, the District has reviewed infrastructure construction at Gia Minh and Gia Duc Communes, ensuring quality, technique and art before acceptance and put into use; implementing measures to complete 17/17 criteria of the NTM model. For the next 05 communes, it needs to soon build plans, mobilize the people in the ground clearance site for progress guarantee aligned with the city’s guidance. Besides, the District Party Committee needs to actively implement construction tasks and measures.

According to Thuy Nguyen District’s report, during the early 09 months of 2021, despite difficulties due to COVID-19, under the leadership and determined guidance of Party and government at all levels, attempts of localities, departments, units and enterprises, the District has continued maintaining a good speed of development, and has gained outstanding results. The district’s economy has continuously kept its stable growth speed with a growth rate of 16%; the district gained and overpassed more than 75% of the plan, regarding 16/18 targets assigned by the city and 8/10 targets of the district. Social welfare work has been paid attention; COVID-19 prevention and control has run synchronously and effectively. Party and government building work, and mass mobilization continued to be renewed and achieved many results. Cadres consolidation and arrangement ensures objectivity, democracy, timeliness, and meets tasks requirements. Duties and responsibilities of majority of cadres and party members, particularly heads of committees and authorities, have been strengthened.

For the ending months of 2021, Thuy Nguyen District identifies 06 groups of key measures and tasks. Among the latter, focus on leadership and guidance in successful implementation of topic “ground clearance, urban development, and the construction of model new rural works” of 2021; effective prevention and control against COVID-19 in attachment with economic development; Party work building and masses mobilization, etc. The province targets by the end of this year, it will basically complete ground clearance of thetechnical infrastructure of new urban area investment project at the North of Cam River, Mind Duc town’s road and National road 10; implementation of 18 transport works at 05 communes of the NTM construction in 2021; ensuring that economic growth rate reaches 17% as planned; completing remaining budget revenue for the whole year 2021./.
