On the afternoon of July 4, the Standing Committee of the City People's Council met voters of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to discuss the contents of the 6th session of the 16th City People's Council. The meeting was attended by Mr. Bui Duc Quang, Vice Chairman of the City People's Council, Mr. Le Khac Nam, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, and leaders of relevant departments and agencies.

Voters of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee agreed with the report on the city's socio-economic achievements in the first half of 2022; confirming the need to review for proper solutions to complete the target.

Voters also directly contributed to the reports and projects presented at the 6th session, emphasizing the reasonability of the project on increasing the average income for state officials, staffs, and public employees based on the fact that their starting salary was very low compared to the enterprise sector and so was the annual increase.

For the project on merging and renaming villages and residential groups in the city area in 2022, voters suggested that there should be higher support for part-time staffs because of the large working scale and huge amount of work. Regarding regulations on some specific policies to support poor households in the period of 2022 - 2025, voters held that former youth volunteers should be added to the group of support recipients.

Mr. Bui Duc Quang acknowledged the opinions of voters on the city development, affirming that voters’ opinions would be collected for discussion at the coming session.
