On the morning of May 16, Department of Science and Technology organized the opening ceremony of Hai Phong Technology and Equipment Market 2022 (Techmart Haiphong 2022). This is one of the event series to celebrate Vietnam Science and Technology Day (18/5) and the 67th anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day.
Attending the opening ceremony, there were Mr. Tran Van Tung, Standing Deputy Minister of Science and Technology; Mr. Hoang Minh Cuong, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee; Mr. Bui Duc Quang, Vice Chairman of the City People's Council; leaders of Departments, and Institutes under Ministry; leaders of Departments of Science and Technology of provinces and cities; relevant departments, agencies, and units.
Techmart Haiphong 2022 is the place to introduce and display products and technology solutions on live and online platforms; organize seminars, workshops, supply-demand connection sessions, consulting activities, and negotiating - signing contracts...
At the ceremony, Mr. Tran Van Tung emphasized that Hai Phong was a port city, an industrial and commercial center, and among the localities with innovative, effective technology activities. In particular, in recent years, the City has made a lot of efforts to focus on developing the science and technology market, as well as supporting businesses to improve productivity, goods quality, and business efficiency.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Hoang Minh Cuong highly appreciated the efforts of Department of Science and Technology in implementing activities of introducing and promoting scientific and technological products, supporting enterprises to research and apply technology in production and business activities. He also suggested that Department of Science and Technology and other departments actively advise the City Party Committee, the City People's Council, and the City People's Committee to promulgate breakthrough mechanisms and policies for new products, technologies, and business models… creating all conditions for Hai Phong to become a major science and technology center of the country./.
