According to leader of Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company, Chua Ve Branch of Hai Phong Port had successfully handled 474 piece equipment with a total weight of up to 670 tons from RoRo (Roll-on/Roll-off) ) Foresighter of Carim Engineering. This is the largest volume of equipment ever carried by ships at the wharf.
The vessel Foresighter’s tonnage is 38,062 tons, flies the Panama flag, and is an agent for Blue Ocean. Normally, specialized RORO vessels usually transport wheeled goods, but Foresighter ships carry all equipment and packages placed directly on the deck, requiring the loading and unloading process to be meticulousness with high precision.
Before loading and unloading, Chua Ve Port Branch had developed plan with specific tasks assigned to the relevant forces in the production line to ensure the safest cargo handling. By 12 o'clock on September 17, all 474 pieces of equipment were brought from the ship to the yard as planned. At 2:00 on September 18, the RoRo Foresighter left the wharf and continued its journey./.
