The first doctoral candidate Tran Tat Van Temple is currently located on a sacred place, the dragon's eye mound with the two ink slab and pen shaped mounds on both sides. During the years of resistance against the French colonialists from 1947 to 1948, the first doctoral candidate temple was among the target of the scorched-earth policy. In 1992, the local people rebuilt a small temple on the old ground. With that precious cultural and historical value, on April 27, 2022, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism had recognized the first doctoral candidate Tran Tat Van Temple and Nguyet Ang Communal House as the national historical relic.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Khac Nam emphasized this event was a great honor to the great merits of the first doctoral candidate Tran Tat Van and General Le Huu Uy, as well as the pride of Hai Phong City, acknowledging the contributions of predecessors in preserving and restoring the relic, achieved by inheritance, protection and promotion of the precious cultural, historical and traditional values of the homeland./.
