On the afternoon of August 18, Indochina Kajima Co., Ltd. Started the construction of Wink Hai Phong Hotel, at 135 Dien Bien Phu Street with 22 storeys, 203 hotel rooms and 77 service apartments. The building covers an area of about 16,000 m2, meeting modern design standards towards the sustainable development of the Wink brand.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Peter Ryder, Chairman of Wink Hotels and CEO of Indochina Capital affirmed the target customers who were tourists and business travellers wishing to experience local cuisine and various cultural features.
Wink Hotels is a brand of Vietnamese mid-range hotel by Wink Hotel Pte. Ltd., the joint venture between Indochina Capital and Kajima Corporation.
Mr. Keisuke Koshijima, Representative Director and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Kajima Corporation emphasized the significant role of Wink Hotels in improving the quality of accommodation and tourism services in Hai Phong as the City lacked high-class accommodation facilities though having favourable conditions to develop tourism.
