On the afternoon of April 3, at Avani Hai Phong Harbor View Hotel, Department of Tourism, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the following provinces and cities: Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam and Da Nang organized a conference on association and cooperation in tourism development among 5 provinces and cities of central region with Hai Phong City and Quang Ninh Province.
As Mr. Dang Dong Ha - Deputy Director of Quang Binh Provincial Department of Tourism, Head of the Central Regional Association mentioned in his opening speech, the conference is among the activities to promote tourism images of the 5 localities with their unique heritage, tourism products as well as to introduce new tourism products for the new normal to travel agencies in Hai Phong and Quang Ninh.
According to Mr. Vu Huy Thuong - Deputy Director of Hai Phong Department of Tourism, after 02-year serious impact of COVID-19 epidemic, the complete reopening since March 15, 2022 was a great opportunity for tourism sector recovery, in which socio-economic activities have been resumed in Hai Phong. Tourism sector has also been well prepared to be ready for domestic and international tourists in high safety.
At the conference, Departments of Tourism, Departments of Culture and Sports of the localities had signed agreement on developing tourism. The conference was expected to bring travel and tourism companies of northeast region different feelings and experiences about tourism in central region, one of the most attractive destinations in Asia, as well as strengthen cooperation relationships and tourism development among localities.
