On the morning of September 29, at the meeting hall of Department of Foreign Affairs, taking place a Conference on announcing the decision of Chairman of the City People's Committee on the official work of the Department of Foreign Affairs chaired by Mr. Le Anh Quan, the Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee.

According to Decision No. 3168/QD-UBND dated September 27, 2022, Chairman of the City People's Committee appointed Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Dung, Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs to hold the position of Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Le Anh Quan highly appreciated the results that the Department of Foreign Affairs has achieved in the past with outstanding marks of the leaders of Department of Foreign Affairs. Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee congratulated Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan on holding the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the City Labor Confederation and congratulated Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Dung on the position of Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs. He highly appreciated the process of learning, striving, growing up, and dedication to the city foreign of Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Dung affairs sector and expected the efforts, together with the consensus of the collective officials, civil servants, and employees of Department to successfully complete all assigned tasks.
