The coast guards of Vietnam and China successfully completed the joint sea patrol in the waters adjacent to the demarcation line in the Tonkin Gulf

In 3 days (November 3 - 5, 2022), in the waters adjacent to the demarcation line in the Tonkin Gulf, the coast guards of Vietnam and China carried out the second joint sea patrol in 2022. With the high sense of responsibility of both sides, the joint sea patrol had a successful completion.

On the side of Vietnam Coast Guard, there are fleets of 8004 and 8003 led by Colonel Luong Cao Khai, Deputy Commander - Chief of Staff of Coast Guard Region 1- Vietnam Coast Guard. On the side of China Coast Guard, there are fleets of 4302 and 4304 led by Colonel Huang Min, Director of Department of Law Enforcement, the 4th Department - China Coast Guard.

During the duty performance, the coast guard forces of the two countries conducted the following contents: Implement telephone calls; conduct the inspection and supervision of fishing boats of the two countries catching fish in the waters adjacent to the demarcation line; jointly practice the research and rescue plans on the sea; propagandize and educate fishermen of two countries to obey the legal regulations when working on the area. In addition, the officers and soldiers of the coast guard fleets of 8004, and 8003 have combined to implement the mass mobilization program "the coast guard accompanies the fishermen".

Colonel Luong Cao Khai said that the second joint sea patrol in 2022 in the waters adjacent to the demarcation line of the Tonkin Gulf between Vietnam and China had been successfully completed and ensured safety in all aspects. The success of this mission will create a driving force to promote a better and better relationship between the two Parties, the two States and people of Vietnam and China in general, as well as the coast guard forces of the two countries in particular.
