On the afternoon of September 16, Hai Phong Youth Union - the City Council of Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers’ Organization - the City Children's Cultural Palace held a ceremony to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the City Children's Cultural Palace (September 16, 1972 - September 16, 2022), which was attended by Secretary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union’s Central Committee, Chairwoman of the Central Council of Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers’ Organization Nguyen Pham Duy Trang; Secretary of the City Youth Union, Chairman of the City Council of Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers’ Organization Vuong Toan Thu Thuy.
At the ceremony, the delegates witnessed the 50 year development of the City Children's Cultural Palace. Every year, the Palace organizes 03 semesters of more than 150 classes with nearly 40 subjects, attracting the participation of about 3,500 children. Talent contests are also organized to attract the participation of a large number of children. Along with that, modeling activities are one of the strengths of the City Children's Cultural Palace.
In addition, the Children's Cultural Palace also actively hold performance programs and ceremonial teams to serve major socio-political activities and events of the City and the Central Government.
With its constant efforts, the City Children's Cultural Palace has been praised and recognized by the Party, State, with various rewards, including the City’s People Committee’s letter award with the content: “ The City Children's Cultural Palace - Dynamic, Creation for the beloved youth"./.
