On the occasion of the 75th Anniversary of Invalids and Martyrs’ Day, State President Nguyen Xuan Phuc accompanied by the State President’s Office, Mr. Tran Luu Quang, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Tung, Chairman of the City People’s Committee and leaders of relevant localities paid visit to exemplary individuals and enterprises in the city.
Upon his visit to Lieutenant-General Nguyen Lan, former Commander of Military Region 3, Mr. Nguyen Van Huan and Mr. Nguyen Huu Tho with outstanding contribution in promoting family’s revolutionary tradition, The State President affirmed that the Party and State had always remembered great contributions of retired army generals, instructing all-level party committee and the city government to consolidate the “Repaying Gratitude” program towards families of whom had contributed to the revolution.
On the same day, the State President paid a working visit at Sao Mai Commerce Ltd. Company in Tan Lien Industrial Park of Vinh Bao Rural District. According to report of Sao Mai Commerce Ltd. Company, the company was established in 2007 with approximate 100 employees and now had 05 textile manufacturing factories, connecting with 27 factories in the Middle and Northern of Vietnam, creating jobs for more than 5,000 employees.
The State President expressed his impression on the company’s excellent achievements in manufacturing and business, acknowledging its positive contributions to the city’s development, State’s budget, and preferential policies for employees during recent years./.
