On January 26 morning, the State President Nguyen Xuan Phuc visited, offering presents and Happy New Year greetings to policy beneficiaries’ families and workers on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2022.
At the event, 100 workers and policy beneficiaries got greetings and Tet presents from the State President.

Before, 906 Heroic Vietnamese mothers, pre-1945 and veteran revolutionaries, heroes of the people’s armed forces, wounded war veterans, and 44,185 families of martyrs in Hai Phong City had received Tet presents from the State President.
The City had transferred all presents valued 13.8 billion dong to families under the State President’s authorization.
Adressing the event, the State President Nguyen Xuan Phuc sent his sincere and warm greetings to all households, policy beneficiaries, and workers. Also, the State President emphasized that the Party and State had early directed relevant ministries, departments, and localities to pay attention to all policy beneficiaries’ households, poor households, labors who have faced difficulties, and agent orange/dioxin victims so thatno one was left behind, and all enjoyed Tet holiday.

State President Nguyen Xuan Phuc said, with the mutual affection tradition, it was year after year policy of the State to guarantee a happy and cosy Tet holiday for policy beneficiaries’ families, people with meritorious contribution to the country and poor households. Accordingly, Hai Phong City had implemented numerous activities and effective social welfare policies to take care of people of those groups.
The State President also asked the City formore effective poverty elimination program in the coming time. For labors, besides the city’s current effort, it was essential for the city to pay more attention to workers’ accommodation construction, particularly in industrial parks, processing zones and seaports.
Hai Phong had well prepared and taken good care of the city’s people for Tet. On the occasion of Lunar New Year 2022, the City had offered each of 46,000 families with meritorious service to the revolution 4.7 million dong with a gift valued 300,000 dong; 1.6 million dong to each of 8,700 poor households, 1.4 million to each of 14,300 near-poor families, and 01 million to each of 1,100 under-social-protection people. The total cost for the aforementioned activities was 265 billion dong.
Enterprises located in the city’s area had given bonuses to workers during the Lunar New Year with an average of 7.5 million/worker. The City Labor Federation and other organizations had also prepared presents for needy and disabled children, those overcoming drug addiction, needy labors, labors positive to COVID-19, supporting bus tickets for labors to return to their hometowns for Tet holidays valued from 200,000 dong to 01 million dong, thetotal cost for those activities was 100 billion dong.

Also, on the January 26 morning, State President Nguyen Xuan Phuc visited the VinFast Automobile Manufacturing Factory, offering presents, and extended greetings to workers. The State President also expressed appreciation to workers for having worked continuously to ensure production progress, and sent greetings of the Party and State’s leaders to workers at the VinFast in particular, and all workers across the country in general. The State President wished Vietnam’s workers class to continue taking progress, mastering technologies for technological development and the nation’s growth.
