Ms. Do Kim Oanh (Le Chan district) highly appreciated the organization of Book Street, and commented: “The space of Book Street is still limited in terms of area and number of booths. Some publishing and distribution units have not had the opportunity to participate. In addition, activities connecting reading culture with technology and contemporary art should be increased to make the event more diverse and creative”. She also hopes that the city will expand this model to other localities, helping reading culture spread more widely in the community.
Ms. Oanh's sharing also partly shows people's expectations for the development of the Book Street, becoming the basis for the city to continue perfecting this model in the coming time. Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Tran Thi Hoang Mai affirmed: "Hai Phong Book Street 2025 is a cultural "specialty" that cannot be missed in April and May, a place to live slowly and nourish the soul with books. On Saturday, Sunday evenings and holidays, the Book Street space is even more bustling with art programs combining modernity and tradition, imbued with spiritual values".
