On the afternoon of November 08, Chairman of Hai Phong City’s People Committee Nguyen Van Tung chaired an on-site inspection and listened to obstacles and difficulties relating to Truong An Hai Phong Investment Joint Stock Company at Dinh Vu – Cat Hai Economic Zone of Hai An District and Dinh Vu Gypsum Joint Stock Company.
Currently, Truong An Hai Phong Investment Joint Stock Company has constructed a plant for artificial gypsum production and waste treatment of DAP Vinachem Joint Stock Company (DAP). The completed plant will contribute to reducing the environmental pollution caused by gypsum waste from DAP.
Assessing the fact that Truong An Hai Phong Investment Joint Stock Company is slow in implementing the project, has not done the leveling, the Chairman requested Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority and Natural Resources and Environment Department to strictly comply with law provisions on investment applied for delayed projects; and requested Truong An Hai Phong Investment Joint Stock Company to actively collaborate with the city’s departments and units to solve the problems. The Chairman agreed on proposal to expand the DAP port to serve factories, expanding gypsum composing area of Gypsum Joint Stock Company; allowed Truong An Hai Phong Investment Joint Stock Company to build road according to the approved plan in order to support the project implementation. The Chairman directed, in the next 10 days, Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority and Hai An District to mark boundary and temporary direct lines to handover to Truong An Hai Phong Investment Joint Stock Company for road construction. The Chairman also requested the Department of Science and Technology and the Department of Construction to work with the Ministry of Science and Technology to develop a research project on Gypsum waste treatment to contribute to early treatment of waste and other contents./.
