On the morning of April 21, the Standing Board of the City Party Committee organized an online conference of the city officials to implement Resolution No. 03-NQ/TU dated October 26, 2021 of the Standing Board of the City Party Committee on digital transformation of HaiPhong City to 2025, with orientation to 2030. Mr. Tran LuuQuang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of HaiPhong City National Assembly Delegation chaired the Conference.

On behalf of the city leaders, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Hoang Minh Cuong gave an overview on city’s socio-economic situation in 2021, the first quarter of 2022 and orientation to 2030. The delegates listened to Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung inform about national digital transformation and key tasks of digital transformation in 2022.
At the conference, the Ministry of Information and Communications and HaiPhong City People's Committee signed the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation to promote digital transformation in the period of 2022 – 2025; in which, speed up the efficiency of online public services, bring the rate of online public services and online applications to over 50% in 2022.
Speaking at the Conference, Secretary of the City Party Committee Mr. Tran LuuQuang thanked the Ministry of Information and Communications, units and businesses, and at the same time, received suggestions at the Conference to direct the city’s digital transformation program in the coming time.
