Seminar on specific and effective coordination of socio-economic development and defense and security enhancement

On the afternoon of April 21, Hai Phong City Party Committee worked tightly with Central Theoretical Council in organizing a seminar on specific and effective coordination of socio-economic development and defense and security enhancement during 10 years of implementation of the 08^th Central Committee’s Resolution, in the 6^th term, regarding strategies to protect the country in new situation (Central Resolution no. 8). Mr. Tran Luu Quang, member of the Central Party, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the Hai Phong National Assembly Delegation, and Professor, Dr. Ta Ngoc Tan, former member of the Central Party, Standing Deputy Chair of the Central Theoretical Council, co-chaired the seminar.The executive Bureau of the City Party Committee issued Action Program No. 29-CTr/TU, implementing the Central Resolution no. 8, propagandizing to party committees at all levels principles and basic viewpoint, and deploying by programs and detailed plans, focusing on tasks of strengthening the political system that creates a solid foundation politically and spiritually.At the seminar, delegates discussed the experiences of implementing of the Central Resolution during the last 10 years, successful lessons and limitations in process of forming marine economic model of Hai Phong city, supporting the Central Theoretical Council documentary closed to practice for consultancy to the Executive Committee of the Central Party and the Politburo, preparing for sum-up activities and issuing upcoming resolutions. On behalf of the city’s leaders, Secretary of the City Party Committee Tran Luu Quang solemnly expressed his gratitude to the Central Theoretical Council for choosing Hai Phong City for their survey and organizing the seminar. The city would receive enthusiastic opinions to contribute to implement the Central Resolution No. 8 for better achievements./.
