On the afternoon of April 11, Mr. Le Tien Chau, member of the Party Central Committee cum Secretary of the City Party Committee paid an official visit to enterprises in the complex of Deep C Industrial Park (which is located in Hai An District). Attended the visit Mr. Le Trung Kien, member of the City Party Committee’s Standing Affairs Bureau cum Head of Hai Phong City’s Economic Zone Authority, Mr. Hoang Minh Cuong, Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People’s Committee, and leaders of Department of Foreign Affairs and Hai An District.

Mr. Le Tien Chau, Secretary of the City Party Committee visited the wastewater treatment factory of Deep C1 Industrial Park and site checking the Deep C2 Industrial Park at the Observation Station. Also, Mr. Le Tien Chau went to visit the JX Nippon Oil & Energy Viet Nam Ltd. Company, which is located inside the Deep C1 Industrial Park and the Magnet Materials Shin-Etsu Viet Nam Ltd. Company, which is also located in the Deep C1 Industrial Park.
The Deep C Industrial Park is a complex built of the 03 joint venture projects between Hai Phong City People’s Committee (taking account for 25%), Rent A Port Group of Belgium (taking account for 75%) consisting of Deep C1, Deep C 2A and 2B, and Deep C3 industrial parks. Currently, the Deep C industrial park has called for 94 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects with registered capital reaching almost 5 billion USD that takes account for 23.8% in industrial parks and economic zone of the city with main fields of investment: logistics, spared parts, electronics; automobile and motorbike mechanism, spared parts of automobile vehicle and motorcycle; and for 51 domestic direct investment (DDI) projects with a total registered capital reaching 16.3 thousands billion VND (equivalent to 687 million USD). In the year of 2022: revenue reach 5.9 billion USD, exporting activities gained 2.32 billion USD (accounting for 9.7% in industrial parks and economic zone of the city), paying to the State budget more than 1,041 billion VND (accounting for 15.8% in industrial parks and economic zone of the city); creating employment for more than 13,426 workers (accounting for 6.8% employment in industrial parks and economic zone).

The Deep C Industrial Park complex is a business unit managing industrial park facilities according to European standards. In addition to focusing on investing in synchronous and high-quality infrastructure development, Deep C has been one of pioneering units in using clean energy, renewable energy such as wind energy, solar energy in management and operation of industrial parks and implementation of numerous solutions for enhancement of sustainable development. Besides, the Deep C Industrial Park complex is also a pioneer in eco-industrial park model construction with concrete standards on sustainability. A majority of secondary investment projects inside the Deep C industrial park complex has high-tech content and friendliness to environment in alignment with green development trend, creating jobs for employees that makes contribution to social security and state budget of the city.

At the meeting, leader of Deep C Industrial Park asked for facilitation of the city in implementation of clean energy generation project at Dinh Vu barrage area and solution to tackle obstacles in plans related to projects of Deep C industrial park complex’s projects, extension of liquid wharf, etc.
After observing on site and listening to enterprises’ feedbacks, Mr. Le Tien Chau, Secretary of the City Party Committee expressed impression when seeing scope and orientation of development, effectiveness of Deep C Industrial Park’s activities taken recently with plans and clear vision direction on establishment of ecological industrial parks and sustainable development. Secretary of the City Party Committee commented that Deep C is a successful industrial park in Hai Phong City as it has attracted investment of quality investors and has brought numerous jobs to employees, making positive contribution to development of Viet Nam in general and Hai Phong in particular.
Secretary of the City Party Committee would like that Deep C would continue extending scale of development in Hai Phong ongoing time. The Secretary acknowledged and well noted suggestions and requests of Deep C and the Secretary assigned relevant departments, agencies and units to continuously research and give solution according to their authorities. Regarding concerns under the Central government’s authority, the city would keep proposals to Ministries and agencies to handle together. Also, the Secretary affirmed to go with the city’s leaders’ side-by-side with and facilitating the best Deep C in the path of development with the city
