Secretary of the City Party Committee Tran Luu Quang visited and offered gifts at Flamboyant Orphanage Village on the occasion of International Children’s Day June 01

On the morning of May 20, Mr. Tran Luu Quang, Secretary of the City Party Committee took a visit and offered gifts to children at the Flamboyant Orphanage Village on the occasion of International Children’s Day June 01. Attending the visit were representatives of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Department of Education and Training, Hai Phong City’s Youth Union, and Hai An District.

30 years since its establishment, 284 children have been brought up, cared for, and educated in the village, 220 children have been integrated into society, adopted at home and abroad, in which 73 children are 18 years old or older, have left the village, having jobs and stable income, 50 children are married, own houses.

Secretary of the City Party Committee Tran Luu Quang expressed his pleasure to see children were fully cared for and nurtured, many of them well-educated, well-behaved and enthusiastically participating in cultural and artistic activities. The Secretary acknowledged and praised efforts and timely attention of all levels of Party committees, authorities, levels, sectors, the city’s organizations, philanthropists, and notably dedication of officials and public servants and workers at the Flamboyant Orphanage Village.

The Secretary wished all civil servants, public workers, and children in the Flamboyant Orphanage Village to have good health, and at the same time encouraged the children to continue their effort and study well to soon integrate into society, becoming useful individuals to the society./.
