Revenue from Import-Export Activities in Hai Phong Exceeds VND 6,150 Billion in February

According to Sub-Department of Customs Region 3, in February 2025, the unit collected over VND 7,022 billion in state budget revenue, an increase of VND 867.3 billion (equivalent to a 14.1% rise) compared to the previous month. Of this, the Hai Phong area contributed VND 6,150.5 billion, an increase of VND 775.9 billion (up 14.4%).

Cumulatively, in the first two months of 2025, total state budget revenue reached over VND 13,177 billion, equivalent to 18.3% of the annual estimate (VND 72,000 billion), and an increase of VND 3,855 billion (41.4%) compared to the same period in 2024. Specifically, Hai Phong's contribution was VND 11,525.2 billion, equivalent to 18.4% of the estimate (VND 62,700 billion), and 16.4% of the target set by the City People’s Council (VND 70,000 billion), representing an increase of VND 3,392 billion (41.7%).

Regarding customs procedures in February, the entire unit processed 154,121 declarations. The total import-export turnover processed was USD 7.44 billion, up 33% compared to the same period in 2024. Also in February, the unit issued 259 decisions on administrative violations, with total fines amounting to VND 3.14 billion. Accumulated over the first two months, 612 administrative penalty decisions were issued, with total fines reaching VND 6.76 billion.

In March, Sub-Department of Customs Region 3 is focusing on deploying the new customs model and the operational model of container scanning systems; developing working regulations and decentralization management policies; and implementing solutions to increase budget revenue.
