Pha Rung Shipbuilding Company built a series of 13,000-ton oil and chemical tankers for Korea

On the afternoon of December 19, Pha Rung Shipbuilding Company signed a contract with Y-ENTEC Company (Korean) on building 03 new 13,000-ton oil and chemical tankers to be exported to Korea and an agreement on building 02 other new vessels after the aforementioned three tankers was done.

According to Director General of Pha Rung Shipbuilding Company Vu Huu Chien,  the contract shown Korean enterprises’ trust in skills and competence of Pha Rung shipbuilding Company’s workers.

 The event also marked the significant transformation in Viet Nam and the Republic of Korea relations from “strategic partnership” to “comprehensive strategic partnership” recently announced and agreed by State President Nguyen Xuan Phuc and South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol in this early December.

The Y-ENTEC Company’s President shared that tY-ENTEC had ordered ships buildt at Pha Rung Shipbuilding Company since 2006, in which the close relation had been remained over the past time. Pha Rung Shipbuilding Company proved itself as a reliable and trustworthy partner, with whom the Y-ENTEC Company had been able to cooperate in the long term. Signing the aforementioned contract on that day was an important landmark in (the two companies’) cooperation and mutual development.

 Mr. Vu Huu Chien affirmed that Pha Rung Shipbuilding Company would make further attempts to guarantee the shipbuilding contract would go according to schedule. Thanks to the contract, Pha Rung Shipbuilding Company also ensured 60% of jobs and new products target by the end of 2025./.
