On April 19th, the Department of Planning and Investment will host an Investment Promotion and Business Connection Conference between Vietnamese and Chinese businesses in Hai Phong. The event aims to strengthen economic and trade cooperation between the two countries, supporting the realization of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and China.
The conference attracts over 100 delegates, including 70 Chinese companies and investors, along with representatives from government agencies and economic organizations. Key topics include introducing investment opportunities in Hai Phong, fostering direct business connections through meetings, discussions, and cooperation agreements. This helps reduce production costs for Chinese investors and enhances the production and management capacity of local businesses in the global value chain.
In his speech, the Director of the Department of Planning and Investment emphasized the importance of strengthening relationship between the two countries, assuring that Hai Phong is always open to facilitating Chinese investors in expanding their businesses locally. The conference also serves as an opportunity for businesses to exchange experiences, build sustainable partnerships, and promote Vietnam-China economic relations, contributing to regional and global economic development.
