National Television Singing Festival –2022 Sao Mai Award 2022 will take place in September 2022

The Department of Culture and Sports had a meeting with representatives of the Art Division (Vietnam Television) and related departments and agencies.

(HPĐT)- On the afternoon of March 04, the Department of Culture and Sports hosted a meeting with the Art Division (Vietnam Television) and related departments and agencies of the city, regarding collaboration in organization of the National Television Singing Festival – 2022 Sao Mai Award.

The National Television Singing Festival – 2022 Sao Mai Award aims to seek and find out excellent vocals for public introduction internally and externally. Accordingly, in Hai Phong City, the final round of the National Television Singing Festival – 2022 Sao Mai Award will occur in 05 weeks of September 2022 (including 03 nights for music styles, 01 night for final ranking and awards, and 01-night gala of 2022 Sao Mai Award). After 09 years, Hai Phong City will host the National Television Singing Festival – 2022 Sao Mai Award.

Mrs. Tran Thi Hoang Mai, Director of Culture and Sports gave a speech at the meeting.

In order to organize the festival successfully, representatives of the Art Division (Vietnam Television) requested the Department of Culture and Sports and related departments and agencies to pay attention and support location arrangement, equipment, sound and light effects, and awards sponsorship. Particularly, the Department of Culture and Sports will be a focal point in collaboration with the Festival Organization for activities operation in the city. During the festival, the Hai Phong Television will work with the Vietnam Television in producing news and reports for Hai Phong introduction and advertisement; providing television equipment and human source when being asked by the Festival Organization. The City Police Department will be in charge of guaranteeing safety and security during the festival in the city. Hai Phong Power Company will make sure to prioritize power provision with capacity aligned with television technique demands. Hai Phong Department of Health will take care of health care work during the festival.

Based on the above information, leaders of the related departments and agencies of the city agreed with the festival plan and will closely coordinate with the Festival Organizing Committee to make festival a great success, contributing to improving the cultural and spiritual life of the city’s people, promoting the land and people of Hai Phong City to domestic and foreign tourists./.
