Mr. Do Manh Hien, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee visited and sent new year wishes to forces on New Year's Eve

Mr. Do Manh Hien, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and the city’s leaders visited to present gifts and send New Year’s greetings to medical staffs and doctors of Vietnam - Czech Friendship Hospital on New Year's Eve.

On the evening of January 31 (December 29 Lunar Calendar), Mr. Do Manh Hien, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee visited and sent New Year greetings to encouraged forces on duty on New Year's Eve.

The delegation was joined by Ms. Dao Khanh Ha, Member of the City Party Committee’a Standing Board, Head of the City Commission for Propaganda and Education; Mr. Le Trung Kien, Member of the City Party Committee’s Standing Board, Head of Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority; Mr. Le Khac Nam, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee as well as leaders of relevant departments and agencies.

Upon his visit to Vietnam - Czech Friendship Hospital, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Mr. Do Manh Hien emphasized that in recent days, though the number of COVID-19 cases recorded in the city had decreased, doctors and nurses had been facing further difficulties due to human shortage in the background of severe cases and dead cases in addition to whichHai Phong health sector had been simultaneously implementing the spring vaccination campaign to inject additional and booster doses of COVID-19 vaccine for the city’s people. In those common difficulties and hardships, medical staffs of Vietnam - Czech Friendship Hospital had been under great pressure when the hospital directlyreceived and treated F0 patients on the 3rd floor with severe cases. Understanding those difficulties and sacrifices, on behalf of the city's leaders, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee warmly visited to encourage and expressed gratitude, shared feelings, and presented gifts to “white shirt soldiers". He wished all leaders, officers and employees of health sector a new year of good health, peace, happiness and stability, continuously protecting health of the city’s people.

On his visit to Hai Phong Power One Member Co., Ltd., Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee highly appreciated efforts of officers, employees and workers of electricity sector. In 2021, under any circumstances, electricity sector had well served units with high demand of electricity such as production centers, factories, hospitals..., at the same time, ensured jobs of officers and employees of the whole sector. Mr. Do Manh Hien emphasized that in order to serve the cause of industrialization and modernization of the City and Country, especially in the current time of digital transformation acceleration, the role of electricity sector is more and more important. On the occasion of new year, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee wished all officers, employees and workers of electricity sector good health, actively contributing to the city’s development. He requested company’s leaders continue to take care of material and spiritual demand of officers and employees, especially those working in remote island areas with difficult travel conditions.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Tap, Secretary of Party Committee, Chairman of Management Council of the Vietnam - Czech Republic Friendship Hospital reported on the hospital's activities during Lunar New Year.

Reporting to Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and members of delegation, Mr. Nguyen Quang Tap said that on the occasion of Lunar New Year, the hospital arranged 170 medical officers and staffs to provide emergency treatment, 230 medical staffs in F0 patient treatment. The hospital also assigned human resources to carry out COVID-19 vaccination campaign throughout Tet holiday to serve people at both hospital facilities. According to Mr. Nguyen Huu Huong, during Lunar New Year, officers and employees of the whole company implemented work shifts to continuously serve customers, especially on New Year's Eve ensure promptly handle sudden incidents.
