(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On the morning of November 9, the Party Committee and the City Border Guard Command held a meeting disseminate information about the duties of the city’s officers and soldiers participating in border management and protection as well as the prevention and control of COVID-19 epidemic in the Southwest border (stage 2). Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Mr. Le Khac Nam attended the meeting and encouraged officers and soldiers in their new duties.
The city leader saw off officers and soldiers to go on a mission.
In order to implement the decision on mobilization of High Command of Border Guard, in this stage, the City Border Guard Command has selected 50 officers and soldiers to take duties in the Southwest border.
All officers and soldiers of the City Border Guard are well aware of their responsibility and ready to complete given tasks with the highest determination.
Previously, at the beginning of 2021, Hai Phong City Border Guard had selected and mobilized 70 officers and soldiers to take the same duties in the southwestern border; coordinate with local forces in patrolling, controlling border, blocking at trails and paths, strictly preventing illegal entry and exit activities, determining not to let the disease spread across the border into Vietnam.

In the past time, the Party, State, branches and localities have been leading and directing drastically the prevention and control of COVID-19 epidemic, identified byParty Committees, Authorities and People of provinces and cities nationwide in general, and bordering provinces and cities in particular hadas a key and urgent task in socio-economic development, strengthen national defense and security, ensuring safety and protect people's health by.
