Lifting bottleneck for a strong development of real estate in Hai Phong City

On the morning of April 23, Department of Construction worked with Tien Phong News and Vietnam National Real Estate Association organizing the conference themed “Lifting bottleneck in Master plan: Hai Phong catches wave of real estate” at the City’s Press Center.

The conference had the attendance of Ministry of Construction, Central Economic Commission, Ministry of Natural Resource and Environment, Chairman of Hai Phong People’s Committee Nguyen Van Tung, leaders of Department of Construction and Real estate association, enterprises and experts in real estate and master planning across the country.

At the conference, Chairman of the City People’s Committee informed that thanks to the development of port and industries, bolstering regional connection with other provinces and cities, since 2015, the city’s economy had grown fast and stably, causing increasing demands for accommodation, housing, urban development in the city. Accordingly, many high quality urban areas and luxurious hotels complex, etc. have appeared. However, the city has faced shortages in social houses to support labors as well as new residential complexes to replace out-of-date and degraded inhabitant areas.

At the conference, delegates was focusing on analyzing and suggesting measures to develop real estate market in Hai Phong City with the three main contents: overview on current situation of real estate market in Hai Phong city, potentials and strengths; Difficulties and challenges regarding master planning and land management; measures for stable and healthy development of real estate in Hai Phong City to become an attractive location for real estate investors domestically and internationally./.
