On the morning of December 26, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Hoang Minh Cuong received and worked with a Korean business delegation led by Mr. Pak By-ong Hun, Secretary General of the Korean Energy Management System Industry Association, who visited, worked and explored cooperation and investment opportunities in Hai Phong.

Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Hoang Minh Cuong informed about some potential strengths and achievements in socio-economic development of Hai Phong. Accordingly, 2024 is the 10th consecutive year that Hai Phong maintains double-digit growth, with total foreign investment capital reaching 4.7 billion USD, more than double of the initial plan. The city currently has 1,000 projects with a total registered investment capital of 32.5 billion USD from investors from 39 countries and territories. Of which, there are 185 projects from Korean investors with a total investment capital of more than 12.8 billion USD, ranking first in total investment capital and second in the number of investment projects.
