In 2022, at least 50% of agricultural producing households in the city have “digital booths” on e-commerce platforms.
In order to support agricultural producing households to move on e-commerce platforms, contributing to agricultural and rural digital economic development in Hai Phong City, the City People’s Committee issued Document No. 2261/UBND-KSTTHT to assign tasks to all relevant units.
Accordingly, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is requested to review and choose reputable enterprises having trademarks to put on e-commerce platform. Provide information on crops, volumes, quality, price frame, products classification table, selection and branding of top agricultural products.
The Department of Trade and Industry continues to support digital commerce platforms in implementation of procedures such as commercial promotion, exporting market expansion, data providing and markets analyzing and forecasting.
District People’s Committees propagate and support agricultural producing households to consume on e-commerce platforms. Ensuring the target that by 2022, at least 70% of households attend online training courses on digital skills and performance skills; 60% of households have digital booths on e-commerce platforms; 50% of households have bank accounts.
City Post Office and Viettel Hai Phong Branch ensure the technical infrastructure, technology and human sources to meet the operation capacity of e-commerce platforms.
