Leaders of HaiPhong Port and contractors signed an EC bidding package contract.
HaiPhong Port Joint Stock Company and consortium of contractors including: PhuXuan Construction and Consulting Joint Stock Company, Water Works Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company have just held a contract signing ceremony for EC bidding package: "Surveying entire project, designing and constructing terminals, dredging embankments behind terminals, leveling, road, yards of phrase 1" of investment project on building container terminals No. 3 and No. 4 of HaiPhong International Gateway Port at LachHuyen .
The investment project of two container terminals No. 3 and No. 4 in LachHuyen was approved by the Prime Minister, and assigned HaiPhong Port Joint Stock Company as an investor with a total investment of 6,946 billion VND. The investment scale of the project includes: building 2 container terminals for ships of up to 100,000 DWT with a total length of 750 m and a width of 50 m. In addition to 2 container terminals, there is also a barge terminal to service ships of up to 160 TEUs (about 3,000 DWT) with a total length of 250 m (including 50 m wide of main terminals), 15 m wide with synchronous equipment and infrastructure systems.

Secretary of Party Committee, Chairman of Board of Directors of HaiPhong Port Joint Stock Company Mr. Pham Hong Minh said that the project on building two container terminals No.3 and No.4 of HaiPhong International Gateway Port in LachHuyen is one of very important projects for company in 2022 and following years. The EC bidding package is the first step to prepare conditions for the project's groundbreaking ceremony. Contractors closely cooperates with supervision consultancy units and specialized departments of HaiPhong Port to urgently deploy for ensuring quality and progress./.
