Specifically, in March (up to March 27), the Customs Department of Region 3 collected more than 6,325 billion VND, an increase of 439 billion VND (equivalent to an increase of 7.5%) compared to the same period last month, of which the Hai Phong area alone collected more than 6,219 billion VND, an increase of 355 billion VND (equivalent to an increase of 6.1%) compared to the previous month. Accumulated revenue in the first quarter, the Customs Department collected 17,989.8 billion VND, equal to 28.2% of the estimated target, an increase of 5,011 billion VND (equivalent to an increase of 38.6%) compared to the same period in 2024; In which, Hai Phong area collected 17,744.5 billion VND, equal to 28.3% of the estimated target, 25.4% of the target assigned by the City People's Council, an increase of 4,980 billion VND (equivalent to an increase of 39%) compared to the same period last year).
Also in the first quarter, the entire Sub-Department processed about 603 thousand declarations, an increase of 13.25% compared to the same period in 2024; the total import-export turnover of goods processed at the Sub-Department reached 27.09 billion USD, an increase of 6.08% compared to the same period. In addition, the Sub-Department issued 856 decisions on administrative sanctions, with a total fine of more than 12 billion VND.
