On the evening of October 15, the Opening Ceremony of Hai Phong (Vietnam) and Gwangju (Korea) Art Exchange Exhibition took place at the City Center of Art, Exhibition and Information. Attended the ceremony were Mrs. Dao Khanh Ha, member of Standing Affairs Bureau of the Municipal Party Committee, Head of Propaganda Bureau, and leadership representatives of relevant departments, agencies and units.
Giving a speech at the ceremony, the Vice Chair of Hai Phong Literacy and Art and Union informed that the event was held under cooperation framework between the Hai Phong Literary and Art Union and Professional Artists Associate of Korea, Gwangju branch.
The exhibition occurred from October 15 to 19, exhibiting more than 100 pictures of over 90 authors including 60 artists of Gwangju Province and 35 artists of Hai Phong City. All artworks were presented under various forms and styles on the topics of life, nature, and human, by then they made outstanding unique features of each nation’s culture and art.
The Organization hoped that such activity will continue to be developed, contributing to enriching the cultural and spiritual life of people, enhancing friendship and cooperation between Korea with Vietnam in general and with Hai Phong in particular./.
