On the morning of November 13, at the City’s Opera House, the Department of Sports and Culture organized the Departure Ceremony of Hai Phong Sports Delegation to participate in the 9th National Sports Festival 2022. Attending the ceremony were Mr. Le Khac Nam, Vice Chairman of the City’s People Committee, and representative of General Department of Sports and Physical Education (Ministry of Sports, Culture and Tourism).
At the ceremony, Mr. Le Khac Nam acknowledged the efforts of athletes and coaches and advised the Hai Phong Sports Delegation to strive to rank 6th or higher. Mr. Le Khac Nam requested all athletes and coaches of the Hai Phong Sports Delegation to step up emulation, political and ideological education, studying and practicing morality, willingness, continuing tradition and striving for high achievements, devoting more to continue affirming Hai Phong as a strong sport and physical education center of the country.
The National Sports Festival is held every four years and is a good opportunity for localities and units to select excellent athletes for competition in order to confirm themselves in national high-performance sports ranking./.
