Hai Phong promotes communication and promotion City images to international friends

The Standing Committee of Hai Phong Party Committee has recently issued Plan No. 439 for the implementation of foreign affairs communication work in 2025, aiming to intensify comprehensive media efforts and promote the city’s image to international friends. This is considered one of the key tasks contributing to the creation of Hai Phong’s dynamic, friendly, and internationally ready profile.

Accordingly, in 2025, foreign affairs communication will focus on publicizing and introducing the Party’s lines, orientations, and the State’s laws and policies across all sectors. At the same time, efforts will escalate to showcase cultural values, heritage, Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, and the city’s socio-economic achievements. In particular, major political, historical, cultural, sports, foreign affairs, diplomatic-cultural events combined with investment and tourism promotion will be widely publicized, helping to enhance Hai Phong’s standing in the eyes of international partners.

The year 2025 is also politically significant, marking the high determination of the Party, military, and people to fully achieve all socio-economic development targets for 2025 and successfully fulfill the XIII Party Congress’s resolutions for 2021–2025. Therefore, foreign affairs communication efforts will continue to promote patriotic emulation movements and spread vibrant patriotic spirits throughout society.

Additionally, Hai Phong city will prioritize updating and disseminating information on regional and global developments, Party and State foreign policy orientations and outcomes, and the city’s own foreign affairs activities. This will highlight Hai Phong’s proactive role in integration and development, while also expanding its economic, trade, and investment partnerships with international counterparts.

Notably, the plan demands vigorous promotion of the investment environment, mechanisms, and policies to attract FDI. It also calls for intensifying cooperation agreement signings, twinning relationships, and delegation exchanges between Hai Phong and foreign localities, organizations, and businesses. These efforts serve as opportunities to broaden the economic and diplomacy space, propel economic–trade–investment cooperation, and contribute to achieving the city’s development goals for 2025.

The plan also emphasizes strict, directive-aligned implementation; encourages proactive, creative approaches tailored to each locality and unit; and continues to publicize the Politburo’s resolutions, Central and Hai Phong Party Committee directives. This ensures that foreign affairs communication remains a crucial bridge in building and promoting Hai Phong’s image in its new development phase.
