(HPDT)- Chua Ve Port branch of Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company has successfully loaded the oversized and overweight cargo of Lilama 69-1 Joint Stock Company on a Portugese ship named UHL FORTUNE to be exported to foreign countries. The ship used in transporting cargo is nearly 150m long and 26m wide, with deadweight capacity of 17,110 DWT, gross register tonnage (GRT) of 16,732 tons.
Special truck transported the cargo to the port.
The package began to be loaded onto the ship.
The package was safely loaded, affirming the capacity of Hai Phong Port in handling oversized and overweight cargo.
The equipment cargo of Lilama 69-1 Joint Stock Company included 241 pieces, in which 01 piece is overweight, and 6 pieces of are oversized with total weight of 1,396,022 tons, dimensions of 9,532.67 m3. Among those 7 pieces, the largest one has the weight of 247.4 tons. After completing relevant procedures, , Chua Ve Port began to load the cargo as planned from the morning of October 25th and finished on October 28th 2021 so that the ship could left at 2pm the same day, well demonstrating Chua Ve Port’s exploitation capacity and experience in handling oversized and overweight loads after key national projects over the past years.
Previously, in March 2021, Chua Ve Port also successfully loaded a lot of equipment of Lilama 69-1 JSC for INDO - BALIKPAPAN Oil Refinery project, including 32 pieces of equipment of 464 tons (equivalent to 4,712 m3), 02 of which areoversized and overweight, 01 Radiant cargo weighing 177 tons, 01 convection load of 99 tons weight, with specific dimension of 16.74 m x 4.28 m x 4.76 m./.
