In the joyous atmosphere of the whole country looking towards major political events, the Hai Phong City People's Committee has just issued Plan No. 20/KH-UBND regarding the organization of large-scale cultural and artistic activities to celebrate the success of the 14th National Congress of the Party. This is a meaningful event, contributing to arousing national pride and creating motivation to promote the spirit of labor and production emulation among the entire Party, and people of the city.
Hai Phong City will organize a special art program with the theme of praising the glorious Party, the great Uncle Ho, and the breakthrough achievements of the country and the city in the integration period. The program is not merely a cultural performance activity but also an affirmation of the solidarity, unity, and steadfast faith of the people of the Port City in the Party's leadership before the nation's new opportunities.
To create conditions for citizens and tourists to enjoy and share in the common joy, the main activities will be implemented as follows:
- Artistic Celebration Program: Gathering many famous artists, combining traditional music and modern performance technology, expected to be broadcast live to serve a wide audience.
- Fireworks Display: A special highlight of the series of events is the low-altitude and high-altitude fireworks program (from socialized funding). The brilliant light over the Port City's sky will symbolize the aspiration to rise, as well as the dynamic and sustainable development of Hai Phong.
- Visual Propaganda and Promotion: The entire city will be brilliantly decorated with a system of panels, banners, slogans, and LED electronic boards in central areas, main roads, and city gateways.
The implementation locations are the City Theater Square and the Eastern Land (Xu Dong) Cultural Center Square. The implementation time is expected to be 01 day after the conclusion of the National Congress.
To ensure safety, solemnity, and practicality, the City People's Committee requires departments and agencies—especially the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, the City Police, the City Military Command, and the People's Committees of communes, wards, and special zones—to coordinate closely to ensure absolute security, order, traffic safety, and fire prevention. Specialized agencies are responsible for guiding and creating the most favorable conditions for organizations, businesses, and citizens to participate in this peak propaganda period through appropriate forms such as hanging the National Flag and decorating headquarters and residences.
