On the morning of August 8, Hai Phong Department of Health held a conference on reviewing medical examination and treatment in the first 6 months of the year and deploying directions and tasks for the last 6 months of 2022, which was chaired by Mr. Le Khac Nam - Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, Director of the Department of Health.
At the conference, Mr. Le Khac Nam acknowledged the subordinate units’s active performance in the health sector and required leaders of medical units to actively discuss and evaluate the effectiveness and shortcomings of autonomy mechanism, proposing solutions to the City in the coming time.
In the first half of the year, Hai Phong health sector had provided medical examination and treatment service to a total of 1,492,006 people, in which inpatients were 172,930 people, 30,120 people underwent surgeries and 772,246 peoplereceived small treatments at hospitals; organized more than 12,000 training courses on epidemic prevention and control for medical staffs, students, and volunteers; applied high techniques in medical examination and treatment at hospitals in the city. Medical facilities have implemented information technology applications in medical examination and treatment, contributing to improving quality and saving time for patients.
In the last 6 months, the health sector will continuously and strongly implement administrative reformation; apply information technology, electronic medical records and digital transformation; consolidating medical ethics and code of conduct including effective communication and positive attitude towards patients./.
