Fireworks to welcome Hai Phong – Red Flamboyant Flower Festival 2019

(Haiphong.gov.vn) – The Office of the Central Government has just issued Document No.1940/VPCP-KGVX conveying the opinion of Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam on agreeing to Hai Phong People’s Committee to host a fireworks performance at low-range on the occasion of the opening of Hai Phong – Red Flamboyant Flower Festival 2022.
The organization of the fireworks performance will be implemented following provisions of Decree No.137/2020/NĐ-CP dated 27/11/2020 issued by the Central Government on management and usage of fireworks, ensuring order, security and absolute safety, without using of State budget and comply with regulations on COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control.
Accordingly, the performance of low-range fireworks will tentatively take place right after the end of the art show of the opening of Hai Phong – Red Flamboyant Flower Festival 2022 (after 21:00, on Friday, May 13th 2022) at the City’s Opera House. The fireworks performance will last for 15 minutes with 120 fireworks shelves for low-range performance within less than 120 meters, and being managed with socialization funds.
The City People’s Committee assigned the City Military Command to assume the main responsibility for organization of fireworks performance, and collaborate with the Department of Sports and Culture, Department of Finance, Department of Police, Hong Bang District and related units to draft a plan for further implementation.
The Hai Phong – Red Flamboyant Flower Festival has been held annually since 2012 and has become a typical product for culture and tourism, a traditional festival of the city, containing contents affirming achievements of the City Party Committee, administration, and the locals. Also, the event has contributed to promoting image of the Red Flamboyant Flower, the people and the land of Hai Phong City to domestic and international tourists.
