On the afternoon of April 9, comrade Le Tien Chau, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Phong City chaired a meeting between the city's leaders and FPT Group and signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Tien Chau emphasized that in the context that the whole country is determined to concretize the implementation of Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, the goodwill of cooperation between Hai Phong City and FPT Group demonstrates the determination of both sides in implementing projects on digital transformation and training high-quality human resources. He said that breakthrough development in science, technology and digital transformation is not only a trend, but also an inevitable requirement of the socio-economic development of Vietnam in general and Hai Phong in particular. Hai Phong chose FPT as an important partner to promote digital transformation in all fields, while creating favorable conditions to help FPT successfully build an FPT ecosystem in Hai Phong City - a dynamic economic growth pole in the North. Mr. Truong Gia Binh, Chairman of FPT Corporation, affirmed that the drastic direction of the city's leaders and the urgent participation of the Departments, branches and localities in the city are important premises to help FPT put its full trust in investing in projects on science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation in the city sooner and faster. Thereby, helping Hai Phong pioneer in the national digital transformation roadmap, developing digital government, digital economy and digital society. FPT Corporation is committed to coordinating with the city to deploy and operate modern public services, ensuring strong digital transformation progress in the areas that Hai Phong desires, contributing to the socio-economic development of the city. At the meeting, the city leaders and FPT Corporation signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement on digital transformation, science and technology development, innovation and training of high-quality human resources in Hai Phong city until 2030.
The content of the agreement includes: Developing digital infrastructure and a synchronous and modern digital platform; Developing the digital economy and supporting businesses in digital transformation; Developing the Science, Technology and Innovation Ecosystem; Developing high-tech industrial parks and related functional areas; Developing high-quality human resources; Building and perfecting institutions; Developing digital data; Building digital government; Developing digital society.
The city will create favorable conditions for FPT Corporation to approach the departments, branches and sectors of Hai Phong city to study and learn about the business, the current situation and needs for science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation of Hai Phong city. FPT Corporation commits to investing the best resources to meet the needs of science and technology development, innovation, and digital transformation of Hai Phong city, implementing projects in accordance with its capacity as assigned by the Hai Phong City People's Committee and regulations of law./.
