On the afternoon of May 11, Saigon - Hai Phong Industrial Park Joint Stock Company held the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Trang Due 3 Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment and Construction Project in An Lao District. The project is part of a series of works and projects inaugurated and started to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Hai Phong - Heroic City (May 13, 1955 - May 13, 2025) and the 2025 Red Flamboyant Festival.
Attending the groundbreaking ceremony were comrades: Do Manh Hien, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee; Nguyen Tuong Van, Deputy Minister of Construction; Le Trung Kien, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board; leaders of Kinh Bac Urban Development Corporation; representatives of relevant departments, branches and units.
The Trang Due 3 Industrial Park infrastructure construction and business investment project has a scale of 652.73 hectares, located in the communes of Truong Thanh, Truong Tho, An Tien and Bat Trang (An Lao district), in Dinh Vu - Cat Hai Economic Zone. The project has a total investment capital of more than 8,000 billion VND, with an operating period of 50 years from the date of approval of the investment policy by the Prime Minister.
Trang Due 3 Industrial Park has a strategic location in Dinh Vu - Cat Hai Economic Zone, fully benefiting from the synchronous transport infrastructure system and international connectivity of Hai Phong - the logistics and key industrial center of the Northern region. The project is oriented to attract enterprises in the high-tech sector, creating a chain of electronics - electric vehicles, and environmentally friendly supporting industries.
Following the success of Trang Due Industrial Park 1 and 2, a strategic investment location for more than 100 domestic and foreign projects with a total investment of nearly 11 billion USD and an important production base of the world's leading technology corporations, typically LG Group with projects such as LG Display, LG Electronics, LG Innotek, Trang Due Industrial Park 3 project not only expands Hai Phong's industrial space but also demonstrates a long-term vision in welcoming the wave of high-quality investment, creating many new jobs for local workers, contributing to promoting sustainable economic growth and putting Hai Phong on the global industrial map.
On this occasion, leaders of Kinh Bac Urban Development Corporation signed a memorandum of understanding to lease land at Trang Due 3 Industrial Park with many potential customers./.
