Grand Opening of the LS Korea-Vietnam Dream Center in Hai Phong

The delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate the center.
 On the morning of May 8, the Hai Phong Department of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with COPION Organization and LS Group of South Korea, held the grand opening of the LS Korea-Vietnam Dream Center in Hai Phong.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Ms. Nguyễn Thị Bích Dung, Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs; Mr. Won Hyung, Director of LS Group (South Korea); Ms. Kim Hyun Jin, Consul of the South Korean Embassy in Vietnam; Ms. Chun Ock Kyung, President of COPION Organization (South Korea), as well as representatives from various departments, agencies, and relevant parties.

The delegates sent their warm congratulations for the center on officially beginning its operations.
 
 The LS Korea-Vietnam Dream Center in Hai Phong is part of the project "Support for Vietnam-Korea Multicultural Families and Vietnamese Women Seeking to Migrate to South Korea through Marriage."
The project is funded by LS Group (South Korea) and implemented by COPION's Vietnam branch in collaboration with the Department of Foreign Affairs, with a total investment of 866,544,000 KRW (equivalent to 647,428 USD).
The project aims to support Vietnam-Korea multicultural families, as well as members of such families residing in Hai Phong and northern provinces of Vietnam, who wish to improve their vocational skills and foreign language abilities. The goal is to create more employment opportunities, improve living conditions, enhance competitiveness, and secure better job prospects for these individuals.

The center was established with the aim for becoming a trusted destination to support women and children in Vietnam-Korea multicultural families, as well as Vietnamese women who migrate to South Korea after marriage. The LS Korea-Vietnam Dream Center is committed to fulfilling its responsibilities to the community, contributing to the overall development of the localities where the project is implemented, and further strengthening the friendship between the people of Vietnam and South Korea.
